I. Liver was of normal size and shape; liver capsule was intact; echogenicity of liver parenchyma was homogeneous; the hepatic vascular network was clear and normally distributed. Inner diameter of hepatic vein and portal vein was normal. Left and right hepatic duct and intrahepatic bile duct were not dilated.
Gallbladder’s size and shape were normal; cystic wall was rough and not thickened; a moderate echogenic point was seen attached to the wall, measuring about 0.7 cm; it did not change with body position, and there was no posterior acoustic shadow. Bile was transparent. The common bile duct was not dilated and there was no abnormal echogenicity seen in the visualized duct segment.
Spleen’s size was normal, contour smooth, parenchyma echogenicity homogeneous; a similar splenic echogenic knot of about 1.8*1.2 cm was seen at the hilum of spleen; boundary was clear and regular; internal echogenicity was homogeneous.
Part of the pancreas was seen and the size and shape of visualized part was normal; the main pancreatic duct was not obviously dilated.
CDFI showed no abnormal blood flow signal.
II. Bilateral kidneys were of normal shape and size; capsule was intact; echogenicity of renal cortex was homogeneous; boundary between cortex and medulla was clear; the collection system were not clearly separated; there was no abnormal hyperechoic light spot; a hyperechoic mass was seen in the right renal pelvis measuring about 4.0*3.9*3.9 cm; the boundary was clear and regular. CDFI showed few blood flow signals inside and around the mass.
There was no significant dilation of bilateral ureters.
Filling of bladder was poor.
Color Doppler ultrasonography showed there was no obvious abnormal blood flow.
I. Gallbladder polypoid change
Nodule at the hilum of spleen; prompt: the accessory spleen was first considered
II. Hyperechoic mass in right kidney
